I was a complete slacker this year about getting out holiday cards so I thought I would share some of the ones I did for clients this year. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and I wish you the best in 2007!

Maritza and Miguel
Last Saturday I photographed the wedding of Maritza and Miguel at St. Joseph's in Greenwich Village. It is the oldest Catholic Church in Manhattan (and in my oppinion one of the prettiest.)It could not have possibly been a more beautiful day in late December! The sun was pooring into the church and the shots outside look like they were taken in September! Miguel's family and friends traveled from Spain and Maritza's traveled from California... they must have had a great time seeing the sites of NY in this amazing weather.
Thanks again to Rob for second shooting and to Lindsay for helping out!

A special thanks to Robert Munroe for second shooting with me for the day.. he brought a great creative eye to the event. Here's a few shots from the Gloria and Chad's day...

Katie and Joe decided to have a small destination wedding in the Caribbean, so it was important to them to have some great photos taken in New York for their engagements. We started in Central Park and then headed down to get some shots by the Brooklyn Bridge.
Because of the Marathon the next day we weren't able to go to some areas of the park.. so we hopped over the fence for this one :-)
I love surprises
I got an invite to my cousin's daughter's 2nd birthday party last week but couldn't make it because I was shooting a wedding. I have been meaning to do a fun shoot with Hailey for a while and saw this as the perfect opportunity to surprise her parents! I gave my cousin's mother in law a call because I knew that she watched Hailey during the day. She loved the idea of surprising them!
So I drove upstate on thursday, had about an hour to do some shots in the backyard, had my lab overnight me the prints, and then overnighted the framed photos to get there on Saturday morning in time for the party. It worked! They got them on time and loved the surprise :) I love it when my crazy ideas work out!

Laquita and William
I had such a great time shooting Laquita and William's wedding. We had a rainy drive out to The North Ritz Club but by the time the ceremony was over the sun came out and we were able to take advantage of the gardens. The reception was a blast.. they had the best soul train line I've ever seen! I haven't laughed like that at a wedding in such a long time :)

Punk meets Goth
... this is how Carlo describes him and Carmella. What a great couple, they have an amazing chemistry together. We started out our engagement shoot at the recently closed CBGB's and then took a walk around the neighborhood. Thanks to Kendall Rodriguez for coming along.. he got some great shots!
A Great Wedding
This past weekend I drove out to Fogelsville, PA to the Glasbern Inn with Jason Groupp to photograph the wedding of Chris and Carrie Anne. It was an intimate wedding on a gorgeous fall day. Jason and I were made to feel as part of the family from the minute we got there. You can check out some more photos from this wedding on Jason's Blog.
Enjoy!
