Katie and Joe decided to have a small destination wedding in the Caribbean, so it was important to them to have some great photos taken in New York for their engagements. We started in Central Park and then headed down to get some shots by the Brooklyn Bridge.
Because of the Marathon the next day we weren't able to go to some areas of the park.. so we hopped over the fence for this one :-)
I love surprises
I got an invite to my cousin's daughter's 2nd birthday party last week but couldn't make it because I was shooting a wedding. I have been meaning to do a fun shoot with Hailey for a while and saw this as the perfect opportunity to surprise her parents! I gave my cousin's mother in law a call because I knew that she watched Hailey during the day. She loved the idea of surprising them!
So I drove upstate on thursday, had about an hour to do some shots in the backyard, had my lab overnight me the prints, and then overnighted the framed photos to get there on Saturday morning in time for the party. It worked! They got them on time and loved the surprise :) I love it when my crazy ideas work out!
