A Week of Inspiration

Last week was unbelievable. I spent the first half traveling from Portland Oregon along Pacific Northwest Coast, through the redwood forest, then over into Lake Tahoe, through Death Valley, and finally landed in Vegas for the 2008 Wedding and Portrait Photographer International (WPPI) convention. Julia Newman and Punam Bean, two amazing photographers, and more importantly good friends of mine took the trip with me. We took our time.. stopping constantly to photograph the amazing landscape. Everyday was spent in a completely different climate.. it was incredible. See below for some images from our journey.

Jen & Mike

What a great way to start out the 2008 season! Jen and Mike were married at The Church of the Blessed Sacrament on the Upper West Side and then continued on to a classic New York reception at Tavern on the Green. I'm in Vegas for WPPI.. so excited! I have lots of photos to post from the roadrip out here. Back to the blackjack tables for now! To be continued..

Google Reader

Google Reader is my new best friend. I used to have all of my favorite blogs bookmarked and would go to each one in the morning while I drank my coffee. This of course resulted in much disappointment when many of the blogs were not updated. I have now changed my ways and subscribe to my favorites using Google Reader. I go to one page, it tells me who has updated, and I only look at those blogs. I've since added many new blogs to my collection since the process is not so overwhelming now :-) So, go to reader.google.com and subscribe to all of your favorite blogs (including mine of course!)

Caroline and Jeff

A few weekends ago I tagged along with Jocelyn Filley to shoot the wedding of Caroline and Jeff at The Union League Club in Manhattan. Weddings never cease to amaze me.. watching families come together to celebrate love.. I'm touched every time.. no matter how many I have been to. Caroline and Jeff's wedding was wonderful.. lots of laughs, tears, and love.
