Ava

It has been so long since my last post! I have been in the thick of wedding season having a blast! I wanted to share some baby photos I took last month. This was the second time I've had the chance to photograph Ava.. isn't she a doll! Thanks so much to Shannon Cunningham for coming along to help!

Chantal and Ken's Wedding

Chantal and Ken were married at Marble Collegiate church and then celebrated at The Angel Orensanz Foundation. This is one of those venues that as you first walk in all you can say is wow! Chantal and Ken worked closely with the lighting artists to create the exact ambiance they were looking for and it was nothing short of spectacular.

Sachie & Manu

Sachie and Manu were married at Battery Gardens here in New York. Sachie had family come in from the west coast and Japan and Manu had family in from New England and India so it was quite the destination wedding. The dancing at this wedding was amazing! Lacy and Adam

I'm catching up on my blogging and wanted to share this amazing wedding I shot a few weeks ago with Jason Groupp, one of my many mentors here in New York. Lacy and Adam's wedding was held at the Pleasantdale Chateau complete with doves and horse & carriage.. every little girl's dream! Check out a few of my photos from the day:

Nomi & Tim

It's such a small world.. I walked into the hotel room to begin the day with Nomi and to my pleasant surprise Sachiko Yanase was Nomi's makeup artist. I had just seen her at Taiko and Jerry's wedding and have worked with her a few times in the past as well. Sachiko is not only a fabulous artist but she's also such a joy to be around.. such a great way for a bride to start her day. As Sachiko did her hair, Nomi created her own gorgeous bouquet. We met with Tim and their families at the CW Post Campus of Long Island University for photos. The cherry blossoms were in full swing which made the gardens pretty magical. At the end of the reception Tim surprised Nomi with a birthday cake!

A huge thanks to my friend Chris Duggan of Threshold Visions Photography for being my guest shooter of the day and to Natalie Borda, my photo school friend who came all the way from florida to help out!
